Job summary

Meridian Fine Foods, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Berry Inspector to join during peak season, mid-October through March. The role focuses on inspecting berries to ensure top quality for strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry products.

You’ll work with an experienced team and may transition to a longer-term role as the business grows. Responsibilities include daily inspection of perishable goods, QC report generation, and coordination with sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years minimum experience in a similar role, preferably with berries.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound and outbound produce daily to approve quality and verify documentation.
• Create and send Quality Control Reports and escalate issues to supervisor.
• Communicate with sales team to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety, sanitation policies and rotate products properly.
• Monitor spoilage and warehouse damage reports; assist with root-cause analysis.
