Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a part-time seasonal Bartender to mix and serve drinks and food to suite guests in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing cocktails, checking IDs, handling payments, maintaining bar inventory, and keeping the bar area clean. The role requires strong customer service, fast-paced multitasking, and a solid knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or combination.

Responsibilities

• Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages, including non-alcoholic beverages, as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner; take and serve orders for drinks and snacks
• Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol products
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and, if required, refusing any further serving in a polite way
• Maintain liquor inventory and consumption; prepare inventory as needed to replenish supplies; ensure the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests
• Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures as per hotel standard; collect payment for drinks service and balance all receipts
• Stay focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Perform other duties as and when assigned.
