Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking enthusiastic Barbacks to support beverage setup and service operations in game day suites during football, basketball, and other events at Mississippi State University venues in Starkville, MS. This is seasonal/part-time work aligned with athletic events.

Responsibilities include bar setup before events, inventory checks, replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area while providing attentive guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years’ Barback experience.
• Must be of legal drinking age.
• Knowledge of bar menu items and stocking.
• Must live near Starkville, MS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bar setup and breakdown for each event.
• Pull and stock all products needed for the night’s event.
• Support bartenders by replenishing supplies during shifts.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and trash removal during events.
• Ensure items are ready at the bar before events begin.
