The successful candidate must be a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with a current Massachusetts license, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and strong communication skills to coordinate with coaches, physicians, and families.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential
• Massachusetts Athletic Trainer license in good standing
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic healthcare services to student-athletes from all NCAA teams.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor for the Athletic Training Program.
• Evaluate, assess, and manage athletic injuries and illnesses.
• Provide first aid, injury care, rehabilitation, and return-to-play support.
• Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate medical and injury documentation.
• Provide coverage for practices and competitions as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with coaches, student-athletes, parents/guardians, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized athletic training room.
• Assist with emergency action plans and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor student-athlete health and refer to physicians or other healthcare providers when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of student-athlete medical information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
