Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment. Part-time hours with duties including opening and closing procedures and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets and follow safety policies.
• Help supervise and develop store associates; maintain a positive work environment.
