The Salvation Army in Temple, TX is seeking a Seasonal Full Time Volunteer Coordinator to support the Christmas Angel Tree program. You will recruit and manage volunteers, coordinate distribution at warehouses, and maintain donor relationships to ensure timely angel adoptions and gift fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience in an office environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, recruit, screen and select volunteers for the Christmas Angel Tree Program.
• Post volunteer listings at malls and maintain volunteer rosters at distribution or warehouse facilities.
• Coordinate and communicate with donors about Angel Tree adoptions.
• Assist with volunteer training, records, and reporting of program metrics.
• Prepare materials and reports for the Angel Tree program and donors.
• Ensure smooth pick-up and delivery of Angel orders with donors and maintain confidentiality.
