Job summary

The Salvation Army Lewisville Service Center is seeking a Seasonal Full Time Volunteer Coordinator for the Christmas Angel Tree program. You will recruit, screen, and place volunteers across locations while coordinating with donors.

Responsibilities include posting volunteer opportunities, maintaining rosters, tracking statistics, preparing reports, and coordinating angel orders and pickup with donors. A high school diploma or GED and prior office experience are preferred; valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of office experience preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects volunteers for the Christmas Angel Tree Program.
• Posts listing of volunteers at malls to ensure staffing at all times.
• Maintains volunteer records and rotation schedules across locations.
• Recruits replacement volunteers when needed and reviews prior year rosters.
• Maintains statistics, placement and follow-up for all Angels across Corps locations.
• Communicates with donors about adopting Angels and coordinating angel orders.
• Coordinates preparation and pickup of Angel orders with donors.
• Assist with Client Interviewing/Database entry and reporting.
