Job summary

The Salvation Army Corp in Alamance County is seeking a part-time coordinator to manage the Angel Tree program and oversee volunteer activities. You will recruit and train volunteers, track donations, and prepare program records for reporting.

Responsibilities include lifting donations in a warehouse, distributing items, and supporting various warehouse operations while maintaining strong donor relations and a positive organizational image.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; two years experience in an office environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Angel Tree Program for The Salvation Army in Alamance County.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to meet Christmas program needs.
• Prepare records and reports for the Christmas program.
• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse and distributes donations as instructed.
• Assist in all areas of Christmas warehouse operations as needed.
• Maintain donor relationships to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
