Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a seasonal Christmas Angel Tree Coordinator to work with the Corps/Area Command Officer and Development department. You will recruit and train volunteers, coordinate angel orders, and manage donor communications to ensure timely gift adoption and pickup.

You will maintain volunteer records, post staffing at malls, and prepare reports evaluating the program’s success at season end. Must be able to work 30-40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience in an office environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, recruit, screen and select volunteers.
• Post volunteer opportunities to malls and maintain staffing.
• Maintain volunteer records at distribution/warehouse facilities.
• Recruit replacement volunteers as needed and review prior year lists.
• Coordinate angel orders and donor communications; arrange pick-ups.
• Assist with client interviewing and database entry; support appreciation events.
• Contact corporate sponsors to identify angel needs and coordinate materials.
