Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters in St. Louis seeks a Christmas Coordinator for a seasonal, full-time role (35 hours/week).

Responsibilities include assisting the Angel Tree program, supervising volunteers, data entry, distributing grocery vouchers, and ensuring a smooth distribution and final inventory after the season. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong organization, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; good organization, data entry, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to accept last-minute changes and deadlines; reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Angel Tree Coordinator during Angel Tree operations.
• Train and work with site staff and volunteers to provide needed supplies.
• Assist with supervision of labor and data entry staff for Angel Tree.
• Input client data into the information management system.
• Organize, print, and distribute grocery vouchers.
• Set up Angel Tree and ensure toys are sorted by age groups for distribution.
• Sort toys with volunteers and keep sorting areas clean.
• Repack, inventory and prepare for Angel Tree closure after Christmas.
