Job summary

Beeflow is seeking energetic Pollination Field Associates for the almond season in Merced, CA. You’ll be in the field supporting research trials, collecting data, and helping ensure our pollination programs run smoothly.

This full-time seasonal role starts in late January or early February and runs 4–5 weeks. You’ll work outdoors with bees, maintain field notes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance crop yields.

Qualifications

• BS in Entomology, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, Ecology, or related field.
• Availability for full-time seasonal position starting late Jan/early Feb for 5–6 weeks.
• Field research experience.
• Interest in pollination/agriculture.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive long distances.
• Clear, prompt communication.
• Familiarity with Google Suite.
• Ability to work independently in the field with remote manager support.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Current residence in Merced, CA area.

Responsibilities

• Execute pollination services with growers.
• Support R&D trials and collect key field data.
• Maintain accurate daily records and field notes.
• Tag crops systematically for research purposes.
• Work efficiently across multiple fields to meet targets.
• Share feedback to improve future projects.
