Job summary

BE Great is seeking a Part-time Seasonal Program Director to oversee multiple program areas at a club site in the Lexington 2 region. The role involves directing curriculum, supervising staff, and coordinating with families, schools and community partners to provide engaging youth development opportunities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Youth Development or related field and 2–3 years of program delivery experience.

2-3 years program delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote Core Values.
Implement Curriculum.
Organizes, directs and implements programming, to include programs in Boys & Girls Clubs of America's five Core Program Areas.
Provides individual and group instruction.
Maintain discipline; arbitrate disputes and enforce Club rules.
Refer youth in need of additional services to appropriate agencies.
Manage/Delegate appropriate responsibilities to program staff.
Meet with volunteers and orientate them to the Club environment.
Ensures planned programs, services, and activities are implemented in accordance with organizational mission, policies and procedures.
Assist program staff in guiding Club members into making appropriate program choices.
Facilitates weekly staff meetings.
Solicits input from staff, community, parents, volunteers and Club members for improvement.
Other duties as assigned.
