Job summary

Be GREAT Academy is seeking a Part-time Program Director in Greenwood, South Carolina for their Starz 24 Teen Center. This role involves overseeing program delivery, managing staff, and collaborating with community groups to ensure diverse opportunities for youth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Development or equivalent experience and at least 2-3 years in program delivery. Strong communication, management skills, and CPR certification are essential. This position offers flexible working hours in a supportive after-school environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Youth Development (or equivalent education and experience) and 2–3 years of program delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of all program areas within the Club.
• Plan, develop, and manage program implementation.
• Supervise program staff and perform administrative duties.
• Liaise between parents, schools, community groups, and Club members.
• Facilitate weekly staff meetings.

Skills

Understanding of the Organization's philosophy, vision and goals

Ability to work with a diverse population of youth ages 4 to 18

Management and supervisory experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of all national and local programs

Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certification

Ability to establish and cultivate positive relationships with youth

Education
