Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote, AI-first digital agency seeking a Search Engine Marketing Manager to own paid media for a portfolio of B2B and growing brands. You will lead targeting, budgeting, roadmaps, and the narrative when clients ask why decisions were made.

You will manage campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, optimize bids and testing, and drive long-term client growth with clear ROAS metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta; campaigns built and optimized by you.
• Proven ROAS, CPA or pipeline improvements with data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing multiple clients at an agency.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Handle budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing; know when to kill a campaign.
• Set up conversion tracking and attribution using GA4, Tag Manager, and platform pixels.
• Define 90-day and quarterly roadmaps for each client and explain the numbers.
• Grow accounts through retention, upsell, and long-term relationships.

As Search Engine Marketing Manager you own paid media for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the targeting, the budget calls, the roadmap and the narrative when the client asks why. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing, and when to kill a campaign.
• Conversion tracking and attribution you can trust: GA4, tag manager and platform pixels.
• The 90 day and quarterly roadmap for each client, and the story behind the numbers on the call.
• Account growth: retention, upsell and the long-term relationship.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta: you have built, run and optimized the campaigns yourself.
• A record of moving ROAS, CPA or pipeline numbers you can walk us through.
