Job summary

Checon, LLC, a division of Alloy Holdings, is hiring a Seam Welder Operator for our North Attleboro, MA facility. The role involves operating welding machines to join metal components in a continuous seam, reading process sheets, and monitoring dimensions to ensure quality.

Training will be provided for candidates with mechanical inclination. We seek individuals with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of manufacturing experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years manufacturing/production experience is a plus.
• Ability to read process sheets and prints and work with close tolerances.
• Knowledge of using verniers, calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines to join metal components in a continuous seam.
• Monitor dimensions per strip print and feed coils daily.
• Inspect finished product and perform base metal trimming.
• Load/unload furnaces and manage material handling up to 1,500 lbs.
• Maintain safety by following rules and reporting incidents.
