Checon, LLC in North Attleboro, MA is hiring for a Rolling Mill/Trimming Operator. You will operate rolling mill machinery to shape metals, monitor output, and inspect products. Qualifications

• Knowledge of using verniers, calipers and micrometers.
• Working with quality control and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Rolling of precious metal and base metal alloys.
• Trimming of precious metal and base metal alloys.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality.
• Inspect finished product.
• Brushing.
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.

Overview

The Rolling Mill/Trimming Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring rolling mill machinery to shape and form metal materials (such as steel, aluminum, or copper) into specified profiles or thicknesses. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow precise specifications and safety protocols. What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements/Safety

• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to use material handling equipment with a 1,500 lb load
