Qualifications

• Experience with quality control and data collection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rolling mill machinery to shape metal into specified profiles or thicknesses.
• Trim metal alloys as required.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects and conformance.
• Perform brushing and loading/unloading of furnaces as needed.
• Handle materials safely and assist with material handling.
• Support a culture of safety by following all safety rules and reporting incidents.

Shift: 1st, M-Th, 6am to 3:30pm, Fri 6am to 10am, plus overtime as needed.

Overview

The Rolling Mill/Trimming Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring rolling mill machinery to shape and form metal materials (such as steel, aluminum, or copper) into specified profiles or thicknesses. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow precise specifications and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Rolling of precious metal and base metal alloys
• Trimming of precious metal and base metal alloys
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality
• Inspect finished product
• Brushing
• Loading/unloading furnaces
• Material handling
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing/Production experience of 2+ years is a plus

Physical Requirements/Safety

• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to use material handling equipment with a 1,500 lb load
