Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Seals Development Lab Technician - 2nd Shift to join our Beltsville, MD team. The role will set up and operate multiple seal machines, produce and inspect a finished part, and contribute to process improvements.

Core hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday with overtime possible. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience; familiarity with SPC, CMM, QAD/MFG Pro and related tools is a plus.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Experience working in the manufacturing environment.
U.S. person per export regulations; no immigration sponsorship.
No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Beltsville, MD.
Access to export-controlled information; U.S. person as defined by regulations.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate multiple seal machines.
Develop processes and tooling for new and existing parts; provide recommendations to Engineering.
Set up, program, troubleshoot, and operate cell machines.
Be the expert on product/process knowledge for all parts produced in the cell.
Test new tooling and processes; analyze SPC charts.
Train production employees and complete required certifications.
Maintain QAD request processes; follow SOPs and safety; perform 5S+.
