Job summary

Eaton in Beltsville, MD is hiring a Seals Development Lab Technician - 2nd Shift. Core hours are 3 pm–11 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime possible. The position offers $25.50 per hour plus a 10% shift premium.

You will set up and operate seal machines, produce and inspect finished parts, develop tooling and processes, set up and program cell machines, and test tooling while analyzing SPC charts. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience; relocation is not

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Seals Development Lab Technician - 2nd Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm, Monday - Friday. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Seals Development Lab Tech will set-up and operate multiple seal machines. They produce and check quality of a finished parts.In this role, you will:Complete all of Skill Level III Operator requirements.Develop processes and tooling for new & existing parts and provide recommendations for Engineering for modified tooling.Set up, program, troubleshooting, problem solving and operate of all cell machines.Expert on product and process knowledge for all parts produced in cell.Test new tooling and process & Analyze SPC charts.Train production employees & successfully complete required certifications.Maintenance request process in QADFollow SOPs and meet all Safety requirements.Perform all 5S+ activities and keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:High School diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution.Experience working in the manufacturing environment.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
