Eaton’s IS AER FED division seeks a Seals Development Lab Technician for 1st shift in Beltsville, MD. Core hours are 7 am–3 pm with potential overtime. You will set up and run seal machines, develop tooling, test tooling, and train staff, while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role requires a U.S. person and adherence to export controls.

Experience in manufacturing and strong math, communication, and ERP system knowledge are preferred. Local candidates only; no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with basic math and PC software (Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train and guide production staff.
• Familiarity with SPC, CMM, and metrology concepts.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and process documentation.
• Understanding preventative maintenance and QAD/MFG Pro systems.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate seal machines; produce and inspect parts.
• Develop tooling and processes for new/existing parts.
• Program, troubleshoot and operate cell machines.
• Train production employees and ensure certifications.
• Maintain quality records and run SPC analyses.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements; perform 5S+ activities.
