Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Beltsville, MD, seeks a Seals Development Lab Technician on 1st shift. Core hours 7am-3pm, with possible overtime. Hourly rate $25.50. Responsibilities include setting up seal machines, developing tooling, training staff, and maintaining QAD-driven processes.

Strong attention to safety and 5S+ culture is expected. The role requires a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and U.S. person status due to export controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• No sponsorship or relocation offered; within 50 miles.
• Export-controlled information requiring U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate multiple seal machines.
• Develop processes and tooling for new and existing parts; suggest tooling changes to Engineering.
• Set up, program, troubleshoot and operate all cell machines.
• Be an expert on product and process knowledge for all parts in the cell.
• Test new tooling and process; analyze SPC charts.
• Train production employees and complete required certifications.
• Maintenance request process in QAD.
