Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. The role emphasizes friendly, efficient customer service and adherence to health and safety policies while upholding WFM core values.

Key duties include maintaining displays, pricing, and signage; assisting with sampling; handling fish preparation and labeling; and participating in inventory and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays and well-stocked cases.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing.
• Keep back stock organized and clean work areas.
• Provide courteous, friendly service to customers and team members.
• Support sampling program and keep areas neat and presentable.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and floors as required.
• Assist with inventory checks and closing/opening duties.
