Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the seafood department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, adherence to health and safety standards, and teamwork to maintain fresh displays and accurate pricing.

The ideal candidate will assist with sampling, product prep, and inventory checks while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by checking quality, stocking and rotating products
• Maintains department signage and accurate pricing
• Maintains back stock and clean, safe workspace
• Assists with sampling and keeps areas clean and inviting
• Preps fish products, labels, dates and processes cuts as needed
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports safety hazards
• Provides excellent customer service and utilizes suggestive selling
• Follows Weights and Measures and health/sanitation procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
