Job summary

Mambo Seafood in Houston seeks a reliable Seafood Cutter to cut, peel, clean and prepare raw seafood and to maintain the seafood display. You will follow the daily prep chart and ensure products are stored properly in a fast-paced setting.

We value teamwork and customer-service orientation, and a Food Handler Certificate is required. English literacy is essential, and bilingual skills are a plus. This is an on-site role with flexible hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write simple instructions in English.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required.
• Must have a Food Handler Certificate.
• Must be a team player and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Cut, peel, clean and prepare raw seafood.
• Maintain the seafood display according to company guidelines.
• Follow the daily production chart to meet seafood prep and display goals.
• Set up and sanitize the cutting area and maintain cleanliness of work spaces.
• Assist the kitchen and perform additional duties as needed.
