Qualifications

• Follow customer service procedures as per company policy.
• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Previous experience as a seafood clerk.
• Prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service as defined by the employer and company policy.
• Train, schedule, and supervise seafood clerks to ensure optimum staffing.
• Speak with customers to resolve problems related to the Seafood department.
• Follow division guidelines for merchandising program implementation.
• Operate electronic scales to record item weights.
• Apply price tags to wrapped items and ensure accuracy.
• Fill orders for customers and retrieve items on request.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the seafood area, remove expired items.
• Perform daily inventory and order products to maintain stock levels.
• Monitor notices and company information for updates.
• Create signs for department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
