Albertsons Companies is seeking a Seafood Department Manager to oversee daily seafood operations, ensuring freshness, customer service, and department execution in a fast paced environment. You will train and support clerks, manage inventory, ordering, and displays, coordinate merchandising, and uphold food safety, labeling, and cleanliness standards across the department.

• Ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Seafood Department with a focus on customer service, freshness, and department readiness.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service and respond to customer requests and special orders.
• Coordinate training, scheduling, and task assignment for seafood clerks to support department coverage.
• Execute merchandising programs, displays, and pricing according to company guidelines.
• Prepare seafood items including cutting, weighing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking displays.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, including cases, prep areas, and equipment.
• Monitor product freshness and remove unsellable or expired items.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, and receiving shipments to maintain in‑stock conditions.
• Track and log required temperature checks for coolers and freezers.
• Maintain department signage and communication updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and operational standards.
