Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or willingness to provide exceptional service.

• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use selling skills and merchandising programs to enhance customer interaction and maximize sales.
• Greet customers, assist with questions and special orders in the department.
• Prepare knife-ready products for sale (slice, trim, wrap, weigh, price) to standards.
• Assist in product receiving, inventory and storage.
• Stock and rotate frozen items and fresh meat/seafood in the sales area.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in meat/seafood prep, coolers, freezers and sales floor.
• Ensure products are in date and communicate customer requests to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
