NDM Hospitality Services is seeking a Cook 2 to join our kitchen team at our new property. You will prep ingredients, stock stations, and cook menu items in line with the Executive Chef's standards, focusing on seafood offerings and maintaining safety and sanitation in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, Food Safety certification, and the ability to work at multiple stations with great teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Food Safety Certified.
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of knife handling and basic cooking procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
• Positive, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
• Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
• Work multiple stations in the kitchen
• This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
