The Fresh Market is seeking a Seafood Specialist to lead the seafood department, ensure product freshness, rotation, and presentation while upholding food safety standards. This role centers on hospitality, teamwork, and department excellence.

You will manage seafood inventory accuracy, coordinate with leadership on ordering and promotions, and support guest engagement during peak times. Competitive hourly pay accompanies opportunities for growth within the store team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
