Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking an Assistant Seafood Manager in Matthews, NC to supervise up to 15 associates in the Seafood Department and support the Seafood Manager with overall department direction, coordination, and evaluation.

You will interview and train associates, plan and direct work, and assist in performance appraisal and disciplinary actions while addressing customer concerns to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and complete required training.
• Complete Harris Teeter training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge

Responsibilities

• Interview and train associates as needed.
• Plan, assign, and direct work activities.
