Price Rite Providence is seeking a Seafood Department Supervisor to lead a perishable team, ensure product safety, and maximize department performance. Responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising while upholding company standards and customer service excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and flexible scheduling including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and speaks English proficiently.
• Performs basic arithmetic calculations (percent, addition, subtraction).
• Follows directions and can work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of bending, reaching, lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work rotating day/evening/weekend shifts.
• Comfortable working in temperatures of 40°F or lower.
• Customer service oriented with strong teamwork.
• Seafood supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Seafood Department and staff.
• Order, receive, and inventory department products.
• Maintain clean, organized coolers, freezers, and displays.
• Prepare seafood items to food safety standards.
• Train and supervise team members, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Communicate with Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Meet sales targets and control shrink and waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service and brand presentation.
• Handle store security procedures and records.
