Job summary

Price Rite of Pawtucket is seeking a Meat Department Supervisor, full time, to lead the Meat Department and Perishable staff, ensuring safety, presentation and high standards. You will direct scheduling, training, stocking, and customer service while controlling costs and maintaining compliance.

The role requires English fluency, basic math, physical ability to lift, and prior meat or supervisory experience; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Perform basic math calculations (percent, addition, subtraction).
• Follow directions and safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work in temperatures 40F or lower.
• Flexible schedule including daytime, evenings and weekends.
• Prior meat and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop and manage the Meat Department and Perishable staff.
• Ensure sanitation, merchandising and presentation standards.
• Control payroll and inventory per company policy.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain safety standards.
• Train and develop team members and communicate with management.
