Whole Foods Market Washington, DC is seeking a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. You will help ensure a fresh, appealing display, friendly service, and adherence to health and safety standards in daily operations.

This role emphasizes teamwork, multitasking, and readiness to perform duties across the department, including labeling, pricing, inventory checks, and assisting with sampling programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh display by stocking cases and rotating products.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing.
• Keep back stock organized.
• Maintain a clean, safe working and shopping area.
• Assist sampling program; keep areas full and clean.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and equipment.
• Prepare fish by skinning, boning, cooking or smoking.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready for shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follow health, safety, and WFM procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
