Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks team members for the seafood department to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will ensure a positive store image through friendly, efficient service, and comply with health and safety regulations.

Duties include maintaining displays, pricing, stock, and sanitation while supporting store programs and leadership directives. You will be part of a team delivering quality seafood, assisting with sampling programs, and handling opening, mid, and closing

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service and assist customers promptly.
• Learn basic knowledge of seafood products carried in the department.
• Maintain quality by visually inspecting products and monitoring freshness.
• Adhere to health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing seafood displays with accurate signage and pricing.
• Stock back stock and keep cases, shelves, and displays clean and organized.
• Assist with sampling program and keep sample areas clean and inviting.
• Prepare, skin, bone, cook or smoke fish as required and label products.
