Job summary

SDS Rx, powered by DHL, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate driver routes, manage contractor drivers, and handle billing using eCourier software. The role emphasizes on-time deliveries, client satisfaction, and collaboration with internal teams.

The candidate should have strong communication, customer service experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with responsibilities including staffing shifts, on-call coverage, and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign drivers to delivery routes.
• Coordinate deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain pool of independent contractor drivers and recruit as needed.
• Manage billing and driver settlements daily using eCourier software.
• Prepare and submit client/management reports; attend weekly meetings.
• Conduct meetings with contractors to address performance.
• Cover open shifts or deliver routes during emergencies.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Scheduling and assigning drivers to delivery routes, coordinating deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensuring compliance with customers requirements, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, maintaining a pool of independent contactor drivers and recruit new contractors as necessary, manage billing and driver settlements daily utilizing eCourier software, preparing and submitting reports for clients and management, attending weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed, conducing meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns, cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergency situations

Position: Logistics Coordinator
Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm, Saturday 2pm-6pm
Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + OT (Salary non-exempt)

On Call after hours for emergencies

In addition to the general job description above, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Excellent people and communication skills, Customer service experience (retail and restaurant are good fit), Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), strong ability to multitask, and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, experience in logistics and customer service, ability to work On-Call, attention to detail and time management skills
