Job summary

SDS Rx, powered by DHL, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to schedule drivers, coordinate deliveries, and ensure client deadlines are met across the US. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will recruit and maintain contractor drivers, manage daily billing via eCourier, and prepare reports for clients and management. On-call duties and weekend shifts are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign drivers to delivery routes.
• Coordinate deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a pool of independent contractor drivers and recruit new contractors as necessary.
• Manage billing and driver settlements daily using eCourier software.
• Prepare and submit reports for clients and management.
• Attend weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions.
• Hold meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns.
• Cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergencies.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Scheduling and assigning drivers to delivery routes, coordinating deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensuring compliance with customers requirements, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, maintaining a pool of independent contactor drivers and recruit new contractors as necessary, manage billing and driver settlements daily utilizing eCourier software, preparing and submitting reports for clients and management, attending weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed, conducting meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns, cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergency situations.

Position: Logistics Coordinator

Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm, Saturday 2pm-6pm

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + OT (Salary non-exempt)

On Call after hours for emergencies

In addition to the general job description above, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Excellent people and communication skills, Customer service experience (retail and restaurant are good fit), Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), strong ability to multitask, and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, experience in logistics and customer service, ability to work On-Call, attention to detail and time management skills.
