Job summary

SDS Rx, powered by DHL, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to schedule and manage delivery routes, coordinate client deliveries, and oversee a pool of independent contractor drivers. The role includes billing, reporting, and ensuring adherence to customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, customer service experience, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent people and communication skills required.
• Customer service experience (retail/restaurant a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in logistics and customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with on-call duties and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign drivers to delivery routes.
• Coordinate deliveries to meet client deadlines and requirements.
• Maintain pool of independent contractors and recruit new drivers as needed.
• Manage billing and driver settlements daily in eCourier software.
• Prepare and submit reports for clients and management.
• Attend weekly meetings to review service levels and take corrective actions.
• Conduct meetings with independent contractors to address performance concerns.
• Cover open shifts or routes during emergencies.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Scheduling and assigning drivers to delivery routes, coordinating deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensuring compliance with customers requirements, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, maintaining a pool of independent contactor drivers and recruit new contractors as necessary, manage billing and driver settlements daily utilizing eCourier software, preparing and submitting reports for clients and management, attending weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed, conducing meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns, cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergency situations.

Position: Logistics Coordinator

Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm, Saturday 2pm-6pm

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + OT (Salary non-exempt)

On Call after hours for emergencies
