Job summary

SDS Rx, a leader in specialized healthcare logistics powered by DHL, is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate time-sensitive medication deliveries. You will dispatch drivers, manage routes, and ensure on-time performance while delivering exceptional customer service to pharmacies and patients.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with routing and scanning systems, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced environment requires you to be organized and detail-oriented.
• Dispatch, logistics, or delivery experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic spreadsheet knowledge; familiarity with e-courier or similar systems.
• Ability to learn routing and scanning systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily driver dispatch activities, including early morning route releases and route assignments.
• Ensuring drivers arrive on time, are properly prepared for their routes, and comply with customer and vendor appearance requirements.
• Monitoring route execution and proactively addressing delivery delays or operational issues.
• Managing urgent STAT medication deliveries and ensuring time‑sensitive orders are assigned and completed promptly.
• Reviewing and processing controlled substance manifests and verifying required documentation before route release.
• Scanning and maintaining records of controlled medication documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting pharmacy operations through administrative tasks, document management, and system updates.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, pharmacy staff, customers, and management regarding route status and service concerns.
• Tracking package movement and delivery performance to ensure service commitments are met.
• Utilizing company technology, mobile applications, printers, and dispatch systems to support daily operations.
• Identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions to maintain efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Assisting with after‑hours operational support as needed until all routes have been successfully released and serviced.
• Maintaining a professional, organized, and customer‑focused work environment.
• Supporting a culture of teamwork, accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers and delivery routes.

Pay : $21.00 per hour
