Job summary

SDS Rx, Powered by DHL, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily transportation and delivery operations in a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment. You will communicate across drivers, customers, warehouses, and management to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient service.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics or related fields, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of logistics, transportation, dispatch, customer service, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Experience in route planning, fleet operations, or transportation management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily transportation schedules and delivery routes.
• Dispatch drivers and provide real-time support for route adjustments and service issues.
• Track shipments and deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, delays, and service concerns.
• Maintain accurate transportation records, reports, and system updates.
• Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, customer complaints, and operational challenges.
• Monitor driver productivity, route efficiency, and service metrics.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, company, customer, and safety requirements.
• Assist with driver onboarding, training, and operational support.
• Coordinate with warehouse, pharmacy, and customer teams to ensure service expectations are met.
• Support payroll, billing, toll management, and other transportation-related administrative functions as assigned.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

This role combines administrative coordination, customer service, contractor management, and operational support to ensure daily logistics activities are executed efficiently and accurately.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for monitoring delivery performance, coordinating route coverage, managing customer communications, and assisting with contractor scheduling and recruiting efforts. This position requires a highly organized and self-motivated professional who can work independently while providing exceptional customer service and operational support.
