SDS Rx in the United States is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate time-sensitive medication deliveries, dispatch drivers, and manage routes to meet pharmacy requirements. You will support daily pharmacy operations, monitor deliveries, and ensure compliance with vendor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver dispatch, route releases and assignments.
• Ensure drivers are on time and prepared, comply with requirements.
• Monitor route execution and address delays or issues.
• Manage urgent STAT deliveries and time-sensitive orders.
• Process controlled substance manifests and document compliance.
• Maintain records of documentation per policy and regulations.
• Support pharmacy operations with admin tasks and system updates.
• Communicate status and concerns with drivers and customers.
• Track package movement and delivery performance.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

Dispatching drivers for scheduled and STAT medication deliveries, coordinating route releases, processing and scanning controlled substance manifests, ensuring drivers are properly prepared and compliant with vendor requirements, supporting pharmacy operations through administrative tasks, monitoring time-sensitive deliveries, and providing proactive solutions to operational challenges in a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment.

Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay:

$21.00 per hour

As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating time-sensitive medication deliveries and ensuring drivers are dispatched efficiently to meet customer and pharmacy requirements. This position supports daily pharmacy operations through route management, driver coordination, shipment tracking, documentation processing, and customer service. The Dispatcher serves as a key communication link between drivers, pharmacy personnel, and customers, ensuring all deliveries are executed accurately and within required service levels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating daily driver dispatch activities, including early morning route releases and route assignments.
• Ensuring drivers arrive on time, are properly prepared for their routes, and comply with customer and vendor appearance requirements.
• Monitoring route execution and proactively addressing delivery delays or operational issues.
• Managing urgent STAT medication deliveries and ensuring time-sensitive orders are assigned and completed promptly.
• Reviewing and processing controlled substance manifests and verifying required documentation before route release.
• Scanning and maintaining records of controlled medication documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting pharmacy operations through administrative tasks, document management, and system updates.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, pharmacy staff, customers, and management regarding route status and service concerns.
• Tracking package movement and delivery performance to ensure service commitments are met.
• Utilizing company technology, mobile applications, printers, and dispatch systems to support daily operations.
• Identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions to maintain efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Assisting with after-hours operational support as needed until all routes have been successfully released and serviced.
