Job summary

SDS Rx in the United States is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate time-sensitive medication deliveries, dispatch drivers, and manage routes to meet pharmacy requirements. You will support daily pharmacy operations, monitor deliveries, and ensure compliance with vendor requirements.

• Experience in dispatching, routing, or logistics coordination preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, pharmacy staff and customers.
• Comfortable in healthcare/pharmacy-related environments.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver dispatch, route releases and assignments.
• Ensure drivers are on time and prepared, comply with requirements.
• Monitor route execution and address delays or issues.
• Manage urgent STAT deliveries and time-sensitive orders.
• Process controlled substance manifests and document compliance.
• Maintain records of documentation per policy and regulations.
• Support pharmacy operations with admin tasks and system updates.
• Communicate status and concerns with drivers and customers.
• Track package movement and delivery performance.
• Use dispatch tech, mobile apps, printers, and devices to operate smoothly.
• Identify challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow.
• Provide after-hours support until routes are released and serviced.
• Maintain professional, organized, customer-focused work environment.
