Qualifications

• 9+ years of Software Testing/Quality Engineering/QA automation.
• 7+ years with Java, Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and enterprise automation frameworks.
• 4+ years API automation with RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• 3+ years Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CI/CD integrated test automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the QA strategy, automation roadmap, and release quality gates.
• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, TypeScript, and BDD.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Build API automation solutions using Java, RestAssured, Postman, and Swagger.
• Integrate automated tests with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and other CI/CD platforms.
• Establish test automation standards, reusable frameworks, coding guidelines, and code review practices.
• Lead defect triage, test case reviews, regression planning, and release sign-off activities.
• Lead and mentor onshore/offshore QA teams and ensure timely sprint-level automation delivery.
• Track automation coverage, test execution, defect trends, and quality metrics using Jira, Zephyr, qTest, ADO, or similar tools.
• Support performance and high-throughput testing for digital and financial platforms.
