Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced Tech Consultant – SDET / Test Automation Architect to lead enterprise-scale QA and test automation. You will design scalable UI/API automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TypeScript, and drive CI/CD integration with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.

You will define quality objectives, mentor onshore/offshore QA teams, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers to ensure delivery of high-quality software

Qualifications

• 9+ years in Software Testing/Quality Engineering/SDET or Test Automation.
• 7+ years with Java, Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and enterprise automation frameworks.
• 4+ years API automation using RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• 3+ years Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CI/CD-integrated test automation.

Responsibilities

• Define QA strategy and automation roadmap for enterprise applications.
• Design scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, TypeScript, and BDD.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Build API automation with Java, RestAssured, Postman, Swagger.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Establish automation standards, reusable frameworks, coding guidelines, and code reviews.
