Job summary

iCapital Network is seeking a Software Developer in Test to enhance the testing framework for the iCapital platform. This role blends hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA to enable feature-based testing across services.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java automation experience, proficiency in CI/CD, and familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, and frontend exposure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA engineering delivery experience.
• 4+ years in Agile SDLC with CI/CD.
• Java programming with BDD/TDD and design patterns in CI/CD.
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs; React frontend exposure.
• CI/CD tools: Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, Docker.
• AI integration experience preferred.
• Banking/finance environment exposure preferred.
• Testing: JUnit, Playwright, Protractor, JMeter or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and implementation of robust automated test suites.
• Integration of automated test suites with the current build and deployment processes.
• Maintenance of automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.
• Integration of Automation framework with existing tools (JIRA).
• Create/Manage/Utilize Defect workflows with automated test execution.
• Design and publish meaningful metric to support automation test creation and execution.
• Build and implementation of performance test suites.
• Perform all types of testing – Functional. API, Automation, Performance and Load
