Job summary

iCapital Network is seeking a Software Developer in Test to enhance the testing framework for the iCapital platform. This role blends hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA to enable feature-based testing across services.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java automation experience, proficiency in CI/CD, and familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, and frontend exposure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA engineering delivery experience.
• 4+ years in Agile SDLC with CI/CD.
• Java programming with BDD/TDD and design patterns in CI/CD.
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs; React frontend exposure.
• CI/CD tools: Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, Docker.
• AI integration experience preferred.
• Banking/finance environment exposure preferred.
• Testing: JUnit, Playwright, Protractor, JMeter or similar.

Software Engineer in Test - Associate / Assistant Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is looking for a Software Developer in Test to work on the iCapital platform. In this role, you will bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As a Software Developer in Test (SDET), you will work closely with the Development and Testing team. The ideal candidate would be a combination of a hands on developer who has some managerial experience, and who can understand existing automation test frameworks and has an ability to enhance and implement the same and should also be able to work with other engineers and product managers to support feature-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and implementation of robust automated test suites.
• Integration of automated test suites with the current build and deployment processes.

• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs and exposure to React front end
• CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker
• AI Integration experience preferred
• Exposure to banking and/or finance environments preferred
• Testing: Junit, Playwright, Protractor, JMeter or similar

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $135,000 depending on level. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
