Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a technically driven SDET to join a Scrum team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate writes clean, maintainable code, leverages AI tools, and helps shape quality across Salesforce integrations and test automation frameworks.

You will work across teams, contribute to automation in TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber, and participate in GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer, SDET, or similar.
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation or strong interest to build this skillset.
• Familiarity with Cucumber/Gherkin BDD syntax.
• Familiarity with GitLab (CI/CD pipelines, MR) and version control.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence in an agile environment.
• BS/MS in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a Scrum team in an SDET capacity, supporting sprint planning and delivery cycles.
• Contribute to and expand the automation testing repository for Salesforce Lightning Omni-Channel; write tests in TS, Playwright, Cucumber, JSforce.
• Use JSforce to interact with Salesforce APIs and write optimized SOQL queries for test data setup and debugging.
• Perform API validation and exploratory testing using tools like Insomnia.
• Integrate and maintain test pipelines in GitLab CI/CD for fast feedback loops.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and improve quality.
