Job summary

CrowdStrike seeks an experienced SDET to enhance automation and testing for the Charlotte AI system. You will write backend automation, design tests, and ensure quality across distributed components.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA and test automation, strong coding skills in Go/Python/Java, and experience with CI/CD, AWS, and AI-enabled validation. Role is hybrid in NYC with office visits twice weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in Quality Assurance and test automation development experience / as an SDET.
• Hands-on experience with Go, Python, Java or any other modern languages.
• Good understanding of algorithms, OS, networking, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, IAM).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing solutions (mainly backend) for the Charlotte AI system using Go, Python, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Kafka, and more.
• Validate integration of other teams and services with Charlotte AI.
• Collaborate with development and product teams on scope and timelines.
• Build comprehensive test plans covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute automated tests and track defects to ensure software quality.
• Analyze results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Participate in code reviews to improve testability and quality.
• Stay updated on AI and automation testing trends.
