Job summary

TechDigital Group in McLean, VA seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber with TypeScript and Java.

You will execute E2E, functional and integration tests across frontend and backend, validate UI and API, integrate with Jenkins/Maven pipelines, and perform SQL validation (DB2, PostgreSQL) in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with UI test automation using Playwright and Selenium.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Java for test scripts.
• Experience with Cucumber for BDD.
• Familiar with REST Assured and Maven/Jenkins in CI/CD.
• Backend and database validation skills with SQL (DB2, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks.
• Execute E2E, functional, and integration tests.
• Develop and run automated UI and API tests.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven).
• Perform backend tests and database validation using SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality.
• Validate software meets acceptance criteria and business requirements.
