Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Washington is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Robotics Development and Packaging Innovation. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable, real-time systems that power packaging workflows and ML-powered platforms serving millions of customers worldwide.

Collaborate with product leaders, ML scientists, and cross-functional teams to shape packaging roadmap, build reliable infrastructure, and mentor junior engineers as you tackle complex, distributed systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of scalable systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing large-scale distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy intelligent packaging workflows and ML-powered platforms.
• Partner with product leaders, ML scientists, and cross-functional teams on roadmap decisions.
• Build and maintain core infrastructure, production services, and tools for packaging engines and labs.
• Drive architecture decisions and establish best practices for scalable systems.
• Coach and support junior engineers in building large-scale distributed systems.
