Job summary

Amazon Operations Technology in Austin is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join the Imperium Network Device Lifecycle Management team. You will build scalable frameworks for provisioning and updating network devices across global fulfillment centers.

You will collaborate with software, system, and network engineers worldwide, focusing on automation and performance to help Amazon scale and simplify device management for hundreds of thousands of devices.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-in internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered software applications.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Develop new and enhance frameworks for managing network devices' lifecycle at Amazon fulfillment centers.
Create OS-agnostic services and tools focusing on automation and performance.
Collaborate with peer software, system, and network engineers globally.
Engage in agile development, architecture and coding practices.
